Yes, bedlinen and towel is included in the rate.

Yes, all our private rooms have a kitchen.  You can borrow a set with kitchen utensils in our reception with everything you need to make a delicious meal.

We do not offer breakfast at Anker Apartment, but all rooms have a kitchen where you can cook. A convenient store called Joker is connected to our lobby and is open 07:00 – 24:00 every day, all year.

Free Wi-Fi is included on all rooms and common areas.

If you have booked directly through our website or with us on phone or email, you can cancel free of charge up until 3 days before the arrival day. Please note that if you have booked through another agent the cancellation policy may vary.

Our age limit is 18 for guests that are travelling alone without parents/guardians.

Anker Apartment is cash-free.

Our booking office is open Monday to Friday between 08:00 – 16:00 (closed all public holidays and 24th and 31st of December).

For urgent matters outside our opening hours, please contact Anker Hotel by phone + 47 22 99 75 10. Their front desk is open 24 hours.

We cannot guarantee a late check-out, but feel free to contact our front desk if you would like to check out after 11:00. We can often book a late check-out for an additional fee.

Yes, we have a luggage room that you can use free of charge in the reception’s opening hours. The room is always locked, but please note that all our guests can access this room if needed. Therefore, we recommend that you do not keep your valuables in the luggage room. Please see our front desk and they will help you with storage.

There are available parking spaces outside Anker Apartment’s entrance and in the parking garage in the same building. Parking spaces are operated by One Park and tickets must be purchased at the ticket machine. The price is 250 NOK per 24 hours, or you can pay per hour. There is also the possibility of a long-term appointment for parking if you contact Aimo Park.

If you experience any problems with the lights in your room, the fridge or the stove top, check your fuse box first.

You will find the fuse box (cabinet) on the wall towards the bathroom.

We have installed a stove guard on the wall above the stove top. Usually, this is what causes the fuse to turn off. To switch the fuse back on, just flip the lower switch marked with XS1

If the problem continues, please contact us and we will ask our maintenance department to look at the issue.

For long term residents, the room will be cleaned every week. Cleaning of the room will be done between 10:00 – 15:00. The time for cleaning can be arranged with us at the reception. Please come and see us during reception opening hours or send us an email at aaresepsjon@anker.oslo.no

The room must be tidy before cleaning for our cleaning staff to be able to clean bathroom, floors and surfaces. You are responsible for washing dishes and kitchen utensils.

Please note that the staff does not change the bed linen or replace towels. New bed linen and new towels can be collected in the reception’s opening hours.

The used bed linen and used towels can be taken to the reception so that we can send this to our laundry.

If you are not able to stop by during reception opening hours, send us an email (aaresepsjon@anker.oslo.no) so that we can bring new bed linen and/or towels to your room. Please make sure to put the old bed linen and towels in a bag inside your room by the door, so we can send this to our laundry.

Smoking is not permitted and must be done outside. Smoking inside or on the roof top terrace will be fined with 2.500 NOK.

You will find a laundry on the ground floor, through a grey door next to the lifts. The laundry has both washing machines and dryers.

Tokens for the machines are purchased from our reception. We accept card payment or via payment link. Unfortunately, we do not accept cash.

You choose the amount you wish to fill up on the token when buying it.

For long-term residents who have arranged cleaning of the room, the garbage cans in the room will be emptied by our cleaning staff the day the room is cleaned.

Otherwise, during the week you are responsible for garbage disposal. You will find garbage bins for ordinary waste and paper outside Anker Apartment by the street. Here are four grey garbage cans that can be used. Here you can dispose of residual waste, food waste and plastic waste.

Green and blue sorting bags can be collected free of charge at Joker. The green bag is used for food waste, and the blue bag is used for plastic waste.

Glass and metal waste can be thrown in a container at Fagerheimsgata, next to Dælenenga bus stop.

If you lose your key outside our opening hours, please contact Anker Hotel in Storgata 55.

Their reception is 24 hours and the reception will help make a new key for you.

At Anker Apartment, infection control is very important. We follow the authorities requirements for infection control and the safety of our guests and employees is our highest priority.

For our guests, that means:

  • That we encourage all our guests to practice good hand hygiene with frequent hand washing and the use of hand sanitizer
  • Hand sanitizer is available when visiting the reception
  • We provide regular cleaning of contact surfaces such as buttons in lifts, door handles, railings in stairwells etc.

Our check-out time is 11:00.

Upon departure, we ask you to bring the key, bed linen, towels and kitchen utensils to the reception.

If you leave outside the receptions opening hours, please leave the key, bed linen, towels and kitchen utensils in your room.

The room should be left in the condition it was in on arrival. Kitchen utensils must be washed.  Any damages incurred will result in a replacement fine.

Sound of fire alarm

  • You must leave the room immediately. Make sure that all windows are closed and that all persons present in the room manages to get out of the room and the building
  • Use the staircase to go outside. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATOR WHEN THE FIREALARM SOUNDS .

In case of fire

  • Make sure that all persons nearby is made aware of the fire.
  • Break the glass and push the button on the manual call point to sound the alarm. This will start the evacuation.
  • In the event of small fires, try to put these out by nearby firefighting equipment.
  • Help other people to evacuate. Do not put yourself in danger.
  • By the sound of alarm, all persons must evacuate the building, go to meeting point in Malmøgata

Preventive work

All guests must be aware of situations that may lead to fire or unwanted situations, and report these to the person responsible on site. Conditions that can be rectified immediately must be performed.

The following rules apply:

  • You must always be in your room if candles are being burned. Never leave a burning candle when you leave the room or go to sleep.
  • Do not store flammable materials near hot springs. For example:
    • Bed/sofa placed near electric panel stove or oil stove.
    • Drying clothes over electric panel oven or oil oven.
  • Use of electrical items for purposes other than those for which they are intended shall not occur.
  • The use of open fire should not occur, except for candles.
  • No smoking inside the building.
  • Do not use oil ovens.
  • Do not store laptops or charging equipment in duvets, blankets etc.
  • Keep the stovetop clean.

It is strictly forbidden to cover sprinkler heads and/ or remove smoke detectors. It is also not permitted to cover the stove guard or deactivate it.

This includes covering or disassembling the smoke detectors, or failure to report when faults are detected. For example a detector that only hangs in a cord.

 If you experience any problems with the lights in your room, the fridge or the stove top, check your fuse box first.
